Commercial Solo Smoothie 'Bedroom', one of 12 amusing viral spots made for McCANN Norway, was finalist in both Europe's Eurobest awards 2008 and New Zealand’s Axis advertising awards 2009, in the craft category.
2008 dark and silly short film
Flux's short film 'It Was a dark and Silly Night' was voted "Best Animated Film" at the 2008 Big Mountain Short Film Festival.
2008 domination
Dominate hair wax won an AWARD Award for Best Animation - Non Computer Generated and was a finalist for Best Online Viral at the Asia Pacific Advertising Awards (ADFEST). The spots was also short listed at Cannes Lions.
2007 westpac's winning campaign
The long running animated Westpac Bank campaign won a number of gongs in the 2008 Effie marketing effectiveness awards, taking out the Agency Effectiveness category, grabbing a gold for Consumer Services, and Westpac were voted Advertiser of the Year for their work with Saatchi & Saatchi. Westpac ‘Online’ picked up a Silver Effie award in 2007.
2007 staines down drains
‘Staines Down Drains’ theme song was voted best Television Theme Music in the Australian APRA Awards 2007. The theme was also finalist for Best Music for Children's Television.
2006 awards
Flux picked up a bronze Axis award in 2006 for Hannover Finance 'Sheets’.
2005 awards
2005 saw Flux pick up a bronze Axis award for its own ‘Mouse Pad’ self-promotion, and a gold Effie for Westpac ‘Junior Banking’, as awarded to partner-agency Saatchi & Saatchi.
2004 awards
2004 was a busy year for awards. Flux’s short film ‘Grass’ was voted World Wide Winner at the Stockholm Film Festival 2004. NZ Dairy Heart Wise won a bronze Axis and Lotto ‘Cog’ picked up the Best in Category - Traditional Animation award at the ATV awards. Also at ATV, Westpac ‘Extended Hours’ achieved Highly Commended. A bronze Effie was secured for FMCG spot ‘Bonita Quest’.
2003 awards
Anchor Milk’s ‘Welcome to Anchorville’ won a silver Axis and Lotto ‘Cog was honoured as the Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide Commercial of the Year 2003. ‘Cog’ also secured a silver Axis award here in New Zealand.
2001 interactive success
Flux has won a number of awards through association with Saatchi’s interactive division, for work including a Cyber Lion in Cannes 2001 for the 'Adidas Beat Rugby' online game, as well as gongs for 'Anchorville' online and 'Retirement Commission Sorted' online.
