The brightness of a new dawn of discovery lit a flame in the hearts of many an adventurer. This was a time when tall ships ruled the waves, and even taller tales grew in strength as they passed from crooked mouths to bending ear.

The whispered promise of treasure, of strange new lands and the rewards of near limitless wealth to those who would dare to take it, attracted wide eyed men and boys alike to every seaport in the land.

Of the thousands upon thousands of men who had set sail aboard the rolling decks of these great wooden ships, it was rare to find a man who stood out as being true to the call of the sea.

Ever since a young Jimmy Cook had first set eyes upon a sailing ship, the wiry young lad with a shock of blonde hair had thought of little else but of a life spent sailing under the stars, on the wide open and limitless expanses of calming green seas.

Using only his bare wits and his brilliant athletic agility, Jimmy Cook will blaze an epic trail of adventure and discovery, as he faces new and deadly foes in the shadows of the depths of the sea, or lurking in the very bowels of a volcanic, primitive and life threatening land.
