This cheeky little ad was directed by Flux’s Raymond McGrath, as one of a series of 12 virals featuring fruit being pulped in numerous violent and amusing ways.
Flux put together the package for the multi-faceted Solo Smoothie campaign, including the 12 animated commercials, a website and online game for the Norwegian client.
Flux head of interactive Fraser Munro oversaw the creation of the online presence and a unique voice controlled game, where users sing to a band of unsuspecting fruit via their computer microphone in order to trap and destroy them.
The viral ‘Bedroom’ was a finalist at Eurobest in 2008 and New Zealand’s Axis Advertising Awards in 2009. McCANN credits include creative director Tore Woll, art director Erlend Klouman Høiner and agency producer Monica Skaar.
