This delightful Subway spot directed by Paul Gillett, features hand-drawn 2D animation crafted by animator Laban Dickinson, that were laid on to cardboard cut-out elements modeled in 3D.

Although the commercial is entirely animated, the diorama was made to look real, as if it were constructed from corrugated cardboard cut-outs, wooden ice cream sticks, string and sticky tape.
