This Subway commercial, directed by Paul Gillett, features live footage set against a backdrop of traditional hand-drawn 2D animation, crafted by Flux animator and director, Mike Howie.
 
The live elements were shot against green screen and added to the hand-drawn illustrations, creating a feel-good cost-effective commercial, made specifically for the New Zealand market.
