too fat labs

Too Fat Labs doesn’t take itself seriously. And why should it, where’s the fun in that? This satirical kiwi series, conceived by Flux founders Brent and Sue Chambers, follows the hilarious and somewhat unfortunate circumstances of two slightly overweight Labradors who fancy themselves as plastic surgeons.

The combination of boyish enthusiasm and a disturbing lack of common sense see the boys up to their necks in the proverbial doggy-doo, as they pursue their dream of becoming rich. Their escapades wreak clinical havoc and they find themselves in a world of trouble.

The writers of Too Fat Labs don’t pull any punches in their slightly un-PC and highly entertaining kiwi-style criticism of the modern cosmetic surgery industry. The show spares no one – it pokes fun at the beautiful people, mocks modern society’s vain attitudes and behavior, it even mocks itself.

The show will be produced initially as 24 one to two minute viral episodes with a strong emphasis on scripting and comedy. Too Fat Labs is designed specifically for distribution over multiple broadcast platforms, including mobile, digital download,  internet and television.
